Although life seems like such a long journey, we must realize that it is no more than a snap of a finger. The more you increase in age, the faster it seems to go. I consider time a predator, stalking us every moment of our life, waiting, until the day where we finally lose the battle. It is inevitable. Time will eventually catch up with us all, and there is nothing that can be done.
I have read numerous things in philosophical thought lately. For an example, the theory that we are all somewhere else, in another plane, dreaming our entire lives. This theory can be backed up due to the fact that we sometimes, or I sometimes, dream within a dream. So who is to say that our entire life is not a dream? Who are we to say that we are really in control of our on life? If decisions are predetermined, how can we make a choice? If our every move is calculated, and our actions are known, our abilities to choose are gone. I know this sounds very similar to “The Matrix,” but I have thought this for many years, even before I saw “The Matrix.”
